About Greater Heights Missions
Greater Heights Missions is a Christian missions organization dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus Christ through faith, service, and practical action in Uganda, Africa. Through evangelism, support for vulnerable girls, clean-water initiatives, skills development, and humanitarian assistance, we seek to meet practical needs while pointing people to Christ.
Faith Demonstrated Through Service
Greater Heights Missions was founded by John Womack, whose devotion to spreading the love of Jesus Christ and demonstrating that love through acts of service inspired the creation of the organization.
From the beginning, Greater Heights Missions has focused its mission work on Uganda, Africa. The organization believes that faith is not only something to be spoken about, but something to be demonstrated through compassion, service, and meaningful action.
This conviction has shaped the organization's work across several areas — from providing safe housing, education, and therapy to girls rescued from sex trafficking, to addressing water scarcity and teaching young Ugandans practical construction skills, GHM seeks to respond to both spiritual and practical needs.
Its mission trips have also brought people together to serve communities through food, medicine, water, and education. Volunteers who travel with GHM often say the experience changes them as much as it changes the communities they came to serve — a two-way exchange of encouragement, friendship, and faith. Yet, at the heart of every project is what GHM considers its most important calling: telling people about Jesus. Today, Greater Heights Missions is supported by a four-member board and by people who have participated in its mission trips, including an April Mission Trip referenced in the organization's materials, and continues to grow as more people answer the call to serve alongside it in Uganda.

We believe the love of Jesus should be demonstrated through both our words and our actions. Every project and mission trip provides an opportunity to serve others while sharing the Gospel.

We respond to real human needs with care and dignity — from providing food, medicine, water, and education to creating safe environments for vulnerable girls.

We seek to equip people with opportunities and practical skills that can strengthen their confidence and their future. Our construction projects teach young people hands-on skills and teamwork.
Hope
We believe people deserve the opportunity to heal, learn, grow, and build a future they can call their own. This is reflected particularly in our work with girls rescued from sex trafficking.
Service
We see service as an expression of God's love. Whether providing a water well, teaching construction skills, supporting education, or serving on a mission trip, we use what we've been given to bless others.

Women of God Shelter
A safe haven for young girls rescued from sex trafficking, including girls as young as 12 — offering a home, education, therapy, and Christian teaching.
Clean Water Wells
Committed to providing at least one water well each year, bringing life-sustaining water to communities in need.
